LEON I. ROSENBERG, MD
Dr. Rosenberg graduated from Harvard University with Honors in Biology in 1974 and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York-Upstate Medical School at Syracuse, New York in 1978. He completed an Adult Psychiatry Residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1981, and a Child Psychiatry Fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital in 1983. He been the Medical Director of the Center for Emotional Fitness, now located in Cherry Hill, for the past 23 years. He specializes in all aspects of psychiatry and also conducts research studies in psychopharmacology. He is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and is Board Eligible in Child Psychiatry.
His child psychiatry credentials include 23 years of experience and a number of publications including The Authoritative Guide to Psychiatric Diagnosis. He is also the editor of two books, Buzz the Bookworm and Decisions, Decisions that teach cognitive behavioral management to children and adolescents, respectively. Finally, along with Dr. Buzz Mingin he is completing the book P.A.R.E.N.T. M.E.N.U.: a 10-step guide for parents to help their children with ADHD and other disorders.
Dr Rosenberg has been doing psychiatric evaluations with Child Study Teams for many years. He is an experienced child and adolescent psychiatrist who relates well to students and their families. He has done numerous psychiatric evaluations and gives families and children a blueprint for understanding their problems and points them in the right direction for solving or ameliorating these problems.
